The staff went above and beyond. The cleaning lady even gave us an extra pillow with out even asking. I highly recommend this hotel for it's excellant customer service, delicious restaurant, price and location. The beach is literally 5 minutes by foot. Yes, this hotel does not have designated parking but it is not necessary at all as there are free spots on the cross streets. I would definitly stay here again.

I loved this hotel. Everything is perfect. The hotel has a greate design with a fantastic bar and restaurant with a very romantic views overlooking the bay. The staff is supernice and really make you feel welcome. This is a lovely place to stay if you want a bit of luxury and romance. It is offcourse a bit expensive also the bar and restaurant. But that is understandable - you get what you are paying for so it is OK.

We thought the baglio was physically very beautiful - its restoration/gardens and its location on the mountain top. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! We LOVED the pool, and the fact that wine could be brought to the poolside for our enjoyment. The games room was excellent - a well-planned area for playing bridge and pool.

Loved the reception, both staff and room. When they gave us a ceramic bottle of water "old style, works by evaporation to keep the water cold", I knew we had landed somewhere "real". This was quite a find, and perhaps 2 kilometers from the ruins at Agrigento. The recommended restaurant, las pinetas, rounded out a perfect stay. -

We loved the location in the old city, the breakfasts were fair,the woman serving the breakfasts was lovely. we never saw the reception staff after our arrival, which was a shame as our air conditioner was very noisy so we couldn't sleep with it on and it was very hot. Apart from that the room was great. we loved the terrace. The market was great as was the swimming in the local beach.

Very nice staff, absolutely helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel is well-located, very close to the city center (app. 10 minutes walk from Piazza D'uomo), and very close to the fancy bar, Spinella :) On the other hand the rooms are not noisy at all. Large, clean rooms, well equipped . The balconies facing Via Etnea are small, but yes, you do see Etna. Very nice staff, both at reception and breakfast. The central location on Via Etnea is convenient; of course it comes with street noise - but the solid window shutters together with the air condition solved our sleeping problems. In short, excellent value for money.
