  We have seen a lot of city hotels and B&Bs before, but this one was really impressive. The room and house were absolutely stylish. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a lot of sense for detail. We were only two people, but took the 3-person bedroom as all others were already booked and the price was still good. Also the other rooms and the rest of the house were really special – a good com - Alessandro the proprietor was super helpful and informative -really looking after us, giving great advice and even making sure we weren't ripped off by taxi drivers. He recommended restaurants and even took us to one to make sure we didn't get lost. The building was unique -a skilful and stylish conversion of an historical building, filled with interesting and quirky historical artefacts and modern art.   This was the delightful surprise packet of our trip. Milazzo is not really well represented in writings on Sicily. We found it a place not to be missed. As for Piero, our host and his apartments I cannot say enough good things. He was extremely helpful, happy and informative. Even the street of his apartment was just gorgeous. The bathroom and the kitchen were separated from the large room and everything was very clean. The fact that we had our private terrace was very convenient. We really felt like home and the owner was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious!

Palazzo Gallo is in a fantastic location to explore Palermo on foot, all the main attractions were in easy walking distance. Breakfast was provided on a daily basis which included ham, cheese, eggs, milk, bread, jams, fr - We visited Sicily in July 2013 for two weeks, of which a week was spent in Palazzo Gallo. We could not fault it at all, and would more than happily live in the apartment. It was very spacious, clean and had everything (and more) that you would need for self catering. Breakfast was left in the apartment and we found there to be more than enough to do both breakfast and lunch.
