  I had a wonderful stay in Rocche Costamagna with my wife in Nov 2013. Got the famous Room No. 4 with 3 balconies (one is in the toilet!) and able to capture the stunning view over the Barolo valley. Room is beautifully and modernly decorated. The distance from the village centre is just right - a brief stroll but far enough away.

  Gorgeous villa with lovely gardens and pool overlooking Lake Maggiore. We had a very spacious room with a lake view and a spa. Good value for money. There is a restaurant onsite and the meals were lovely. We had the beef fillet with porcini mushrooms (very tender & perfectly cooked) and requested a side of vegetables (the Chef cooked us spi... ce que les gens disent » nach and potatoes, which were delicious). The second night we had pasta and ragu, which was tasty. The breakfasts were very good; lots of choice, in - Villa Margherita was very nice! We had a room with lake view but our whirlpool was broken, after mentioning this they upgraded us to the best room in the house, a beautiful large room with a huge wirlpool. The view of the lake was amazing! The balcony looks cute and it's nice to sit in the evening and enjoy the view. Hotel was easy to find with gps and there were a lot of parking places by the hotel (for free). We also loved the beautiful large garden, so nice to relax and very quiet.
