  Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superior rooms were large with nice bathrooms. We walked to lots of major attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum and Roman Forums were all 15 - 20 minutes easy walk away. My wife and daughters found plenty of shopping nearby, especially on and around Via Nazionale which is 40m f - Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking. Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.

  I stayed at Hotel Desiderio for nine nights and I loved it. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bed is perfect and the sheets are very clean. The location is perfect because the train station is right there not even two minutes walk.   The Owner is an interesting lady who keeps the place in a perfect way. Room are spacious with a large bathroom. The guest house is on the 3th floor of a old nice building. It is really nice and you will have the feeling to be in house more than a Hotel. It is safe and well located.   I liked my room a lot. It was more than comfortable. The bathroom was nice, but not having a shower curtain or door took a bit of getting used to. I didn't like splashing water all over the bathroom floor. This hotel had a blow dryer that worked well. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I loved having a balcony and being able to open the - Excellent location with the Vatican a 5min walk. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was basic but for the price you pay it sets you up well for the day. All round, would highly recommend!

  Wonderful and friendly service, always helped us find our way in Rome, aswered all of our questions, they gave us an adapter for our chargers, and even watched our luggage after we checked out :) Hotel is situated 1 minute from Termini station - from this station you can get around Rome very easly (same with coming back to hotel - from almost ever... ce que les gens disent » y place in the city). Room was very cosy and clean, shower was small, but it didn't bothered us a lot :) Amazing blinds - we slept very well, room was - Small, neat and quite hotel with 24h reception. Our double room No 212 was spacious, clean and very comfortable, facing inner yard, thus quite at night. Do not expect sea views as it is centre located hotel, however Termini (central railway and bus station) is just 5 min away. No breakfast, but we did not need it and there are plenty of bars/pasticeries where you can have cappucino with freshly baked pastries/snacks. I would like to say special thanks to Ruslan at reception, who speaks English

Owner/Staff: Signora Olga, the owner, is one very sweet, genuinely caring lady. Nevertheless, she made my wife and I felt very welcome to her place. She even helped me organize a ride from the airport to her place (very helpful!). The room we got was comfy and very clean. There was free Wifi connection. The location was great, which was literally a 5 min walk to the nearest Termini Metro Station. The breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee they served was the best
