  The Management and staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are all from facing and have a wonderful view over 2 bay and to Mount Vesuvius. The room were bit basic but clean and very comfortable also had clean towels every day. A ten minute walk into the center of Sorrento. Also has free car parking. I would definitely stay - At first sight, we were we were disappointed with the rather basic room. However, as soon as we saw the huge terrace, overlooking the Bay of Naples, we forgot about the room. (Who needs luxury with a view like that??). The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - perfect location, clean, friendly staff, free wifi at all times and great pool.

  I first visited Positano 2 years ago. The location of the Savoia is perfect. The family that runs the hotel, and in particular Claudia, are wonderful and very knowledgeable. One truly gets a feel for the region when staying at the Savoia. The breakfast is plentiful and the variety is excellent. This will be my hotel of choice - The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff was very helpful and even called our next hotel for us to ask a few questions. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a partial view of the water.   Close to beach, but a bit isolated from Sorrento. It was a good size, had an outdoor terrace, was clean and easily accommodated our group of 5. The service was friendly and helpful. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Huge rooms and onsite parking available. Beautiful beach is 20 metrwa from hotel. I wish we stayed longer in this hotel
