  The setting is breathtaking and the staff is amazingly attentive. We had dinner there and it was one of our best meals in two weeks. - a beautiful hotel with some wonderful antique pieces in a fresh and spacious interior.the staff were very helpful and provided us with dinner although we arrived after serving time.lovely gardens.

  Hotel Martino is located on the coast on the outskirts of Maratea, Italy. It is a great little budget hotel with amazing views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they spoke a little English. They had a restaurant "on site" and offered a continental breakfast included with your stay. (Just be sure to go during the "summer" season starting on June 1st - more amenities!) - Great location and close to restaurants for dinner. There is one attached to the hotel which makes it convenient but if you want something other than seafood you may have to find another place to eat. Breakfast was included and it was a great way to start the day. The town of Maratea is close by as well as other sites that are quite and beautiful. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a spot a little off the beaten path.

  This is a gem, staff delightful, rooms great, food excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel is not by the sea, but has an excellent pool. The area is fasinating, particularly when we were there in May. We stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. - Staff very helpful and charming.

His niece was our host when we first arrived and she was absolutely delightful and provided us with maps, detailed information on the best sites in the city and how to get to them as well as good restaurant recommendations. The room was basic but very comfortable. They have double doo - So peaceful! We had the hotel pretty much to ourselves. Over the 4 nights we stayed we only saw 3 other guests at breakfast, so it was a treat to have the wonderful view from the terrace just for us. It was a good way to start the day. Our suite was very large, with great views and a nice terrace. Simple in design it wasn't by any means luxurious, but gave us what we needed. The staff were friendly too.
