She was so wonderful to us! We arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, we had planned to just drop our bags and come back later. She said since our room was not ready (I didn't expect it to be) that we could have a different, larger room. It was a wonderful surprise! It seems that every where we had stayed prior was a little small and cramped, but this room was so huge and spacious, it felt great to be able to stretch out and breathe!   The location couldn't be better. They helped book everything for the fast lines since we only had a short time in Florence. The room was a suite which they upgraded us on our arrival without asking. It gave a palace feel with the architecture and furnishings and we were made to feel like royalty when we were there. With or without kids it would be amazing, and yes there is a - Our original accommodations were not available for the five of us, so they put three of us in the junior suite which was UNBELIEVABLY beautiful! We all felt like we got to sleep in a palace room for the night. Just an amazing night. What a pleasure! The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Wouldn't have changed a thing!

  My daughter and I spent four days at the porcellini gallery and we had a fabulous time. The staff especially the lovely Aldo couldn't do enough for us nothing was too much trouble. The place is small, unique and beautiful and so far removed from big corporate hotels if you are looking for something different this is your place. Owners and staff were very cordial and helpful in all regards. Made us feel totally welcome and appreciated. We were very pleased with our stay and would very definitely go back.

  The hotel is located in a perfect spot in the historical center. It seems that it used to be an apartment before so it is a bit hard to find but at the same time gives really interesting experience of an "inside". Also, staff was super nice and friendly, we were positively surprised with a present from hotel for the Orthodox Easter (we're both fro... ce que les gens disent » m Russia). So overall we had great time there. - The location was perfect, you can walk to all the major tourist sites/attractions. The hotel was also a near grocery shop, souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. The Lady Manager was very friendly, efficient and really did a wonderful job to her customers. The cleaning lady was very polite and respectful and did a good job. I will stay again in this hotel
