  Location...a side street which is a few hundred yards from the Cathedral in one direction and Michelangelo's David (Museum) in the other, within walking distance from the railway station and everything else in central Florence. Friendliness...g - Florence Dream Domus was the best hotel we stayed in during our entire Europe trip. The location is fantastic, the place is quaint, art-deco and very chic, and a word of appreciation is due for the Manager's/ overseer's of the property, Mr. Lorenzo & Ms. Laura. We have never met such helpful, considerate or polite hotel staff ever, even in luxury hotels. They went out of their way to may our stay memorable! We strongly recommend the place.

  I've Benin Florence for a congress in fiera..What I can say, to arrive everywhere (fiera, most important tourist attractions, ristorante, etc) just 5 minutes walking. Then, finally, the location is amazing/great as well a the staff. I was travelling alone and I never felt like "at home" as in this delicious B&B. Friendly, helpful staff. This is an older place, but very comfortable and cheerful room, and quiet (back room). Good shower. We were so happy that that there was a lift! Free Wi-Fi. If you are leaving early, make sure you settle your bill the night before! We would like to stay here again.

  This hotel is very unique. I believe it used to be another type of building & is attached to some others. It is right near the heart of the cathedrals & shopping district. My friend & I had made our reservations just a day before we came since we had arrived in Venice after a cruise & stayed there 1 night. It has an excellent breakfast (small but tasty - Hotel La Venere gets the most points for its prime location - literally a three-minute walk to the Duomo. The hotel room was clean and very quiet, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very polite and kind (although their English was quite poor, which made communication a bit hard at times). I would definitely stay here again, mainly due to the ease of getting to/from Florence's main attractions.
