  Hotel Ercoli is a very clean and friendly place. The room is really small (we had standard double) so it suits for those who are looking for a good bed in the end of a long day spent in beautiful Rome. There is a very good breakfast (fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs, jams, cakes, yogurts, etc.). Its about a 10 minute walk from the Roma Termini (which feels long with luggage) but very conveniently located with good bus connections to the entire city. Looking at the hotel building from outside, and going up an ancient elevator, we were a little apprehensive of our choice. But the moment Thomas let us into the hotel, it was a revelation.   Breakfast was at an italian cafe 10metres from location which was excellent. Owner Victoria is lovely she speaks english which is a huge bonus. Location is fantastic eg the pope is your neighbour. - Location. The owner Victoria nice person,friendly, speaks english.

  We had a very pleasant stay in the B&B Roma Central. Our room was more than big enough for two guests, very clean and very cozy. And in addition the balcony was a great benefit. The room has a fridge and a TV with nearly endless channels in different languages. There is a great supply of very good and not too expensive restaurants nearby the apartment. So, everything was - B & B Roma, was everything we expected. Good location, close enough to the train station to collect our car, near the metro, but in excellent walking distance of most of the sites of Rome. The apartment was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and hairdryer. Being in a courtyard the apartment was so quiet at night which made a great sleeping place. A small useful shared kitchen was available, we made sandwiches for lunch each day to keep
