  The hotel was conveniently located between the Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican (a 10 minute walk to both) and from the Piazza you can continue through to the shopping areas and Spanish steps. The hotel was very new, clean and nicely furnished. We were very happy with our room and the amenities.   The design of Hotel Metropolis was very cool--modern, clean, chic. I absolutely loved the decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels). The Lepanto a metro stop is just a few blocks away, so seeing the rest of Rome is easy and getting to the Termini train station is very convenient.
