The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

Nous ne pouvons pas évaluer l'Hôtel Prince de Galles car nous avons étésurclassés à l'Hôtel Alpi. Nous n'avons rien perdu au change. L'HôtelAlpi est excellent. We stayed in this hotel with my wife for three nights. It's somewhat further from the center and good 15-minute walk from the metro but we enjoy walking and didn't find this annoying. The hotel deserves its three stars, we loved being there. Rooms are ok size, spacious bathrooms. Clean, tidy and no drainage problems as there were in other hotels.

I 've known the hotel for the last 10 years. This is an old
classical furnished hotel but well maintain. Breakfast improved in
quality and variety but the fruit juice. The internet access too. I like
the garden with free parking access. Good location with a car as few
minutes away from the center and easy to exit from the Tuscolana
(Naples, Ciampino) or Marco Polo (eur, Pomezia, Fiumicino). Price can be
very competive and attractive
