The location is excellent in terms of being close to all the historical centre of Rome. It is 1/2 block off of the Campo, so you get a little noise on weekends, but the windows of LR and one bedroom overlook the little street below and it is fun to watch and hear local activity of the day. The location was excellent, we could more or less walk to all sites in
rome, just make sure you have a good map as some of the routes are
quite difficult to follow. The appartment itself was clean and had all
necessary facilities, so we were very pleased! Also a quick tip, if
you plan to visit the Vatican and Coloseum it is well worth gettig up
early to get there for the opening times as the ques for later on can
be very long.

Location was extremely convenient, just 4 short blocks from Termini station in central Rome (hub for all trains, buses and subways). Good sound insulation from the street (there is a daily street market daily just outside). Neighbourhood is diverse and felt safe, with a variety of inexpensive restaurants. -

I used the word unbelievable because I travel to Italy 6 - 8 times in a year and with all honest -
When I stayed at Hotel Max they had been open for only three weeks. As a
result they worked hard to impress their guests. I paid half price
because I was a single guest, but I was given a double room. The flowers
I had brought with me were put in a vase for me. The room was
beautifully refurbished and the bathroom was new. Breakfast was
excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the front desk is
open 24 hours a day. I recommend Hotel Max as a great, inexpensive place
to stay in a grea
