  Maria Elisabetta and Rodolfo are a wonderful young couple who take great care of their guests. The location of the Residenza is perfect (next to San Marco but away from the crowd, and not far away from the Castello area where the Biennale takes place and where there are plenty of great authentic restaurants). We stayed in the Artist room which was neat, quiet and very clean, with a lovely view over the canal. The - In one word - Excellent. Location - perfect (near San Marco square, but on the small quiet street). Room - clean and cozy. Bathroom - big, light and clean, clean and clean (hairdryer, toiletries, towels are included). Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.) Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor. All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.

  The hotel is positioned in a quiet side street and was a tad more expensive than we usually pay for our city breaks but we thought it was good value in relation to the other hotels in the area. But it was well furnished and we had the canal view, which was lovely. But the bed was extra- large and very comfy. The front of house were very helpful with regards to restaurant recommendations - Very central boutique hotel within 5 mins of St Marks......loved the gondolas passing the door of the hotel & some had singers/guitar players ....the singing was brilliant !!! The staff were all friendly & very helpful. The room we had was a junior suite & for 3 women sharing was a bit on the small side but we managed. I would recommend that the hotel get rid of the excercise bike & replace it with a chest of drawers or another wardrobe !!!! Breakfast was really good & plent

  We loved everything about this apartment. We were given exact directions where to meet the representative ( which after a long flight was great.) The location of the apartment was fantastic for us... We felt like we were living amongst the locals and yet we were 10 minutes walk away from the Rialto. The apartment we stayed in was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom one with the bedrooms upstairs and kitchen/livin - We stayed (group of 4) at the apartment located near the Casino vaporetto station. The apartment was very easy to reach from the train station and also close to vaporetto station to move around Venice. Spacious, light rooms which were very clean. We were met by the lovely Silvia who was very welcoming and gave us an introduction to the Carneggio area where we were staying, including a local map showing supermarket, restaurants, etc. It was great to not be in the busy tourist area and we really

  The Hotel Ai Due Principi has a fantastic location, very near St Mark's but on a quiet, beautiful canal. It has an old façade but was obviously gutted and totally redone inside so the rooms and bathrooms are very modern and comfortable. It is family run and the staff could not have been more helpful with recommendations and extra requests. Felt like a local.
