I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. Amazing hotel in the heart of Trastevere. We wondered around to look for places to eat near the hotel, and we never had a meal that was anything less than delicious. The staff were excellent. We were a bit cold in our room and they came within 20 minute to turn up the heat and to turn up the water heat as well. The staff was very punctual, breakfasts were delivered on time, and they were flexible with our checkout as we had a later flight. The room was in a brilliant location--we walked everywhere. We highly recommend it.

The staff were so knowledgeable about how to get around the city in the
cheapest way and most practical way. The breakfast was delicious and

The hotel was clean and I particularly liked the bathroom with heated
towel bars. The staff were very friendly. We only talked to them in
Italian, so I'm not sure if they can serve tourists in English. They
answered any questions we had about transportation and sold us tickets
for the city bus (which can't always be purchased on-board).
Breakfast was your typical continental breakfast-style, but ingredients
were fresh.

We were positively surprised when we saw our room, it was much bigger than any ordinary three/four stars hotel, everything was clean, nicely designed. We arrived late and the owners were fine for us to check in late. They
were both very friendly and gave us lots of info and the best ways to
get around. The hotel is walking distance from the colosseum and roman
forum and is also right next to Saint Giovanni metro for people who
would prefer not to walk. On the day we left we were allowed to keep
our keys until 3 so that we could leave our bags in the room. Breakfast
was self service with plenty of fruit, cakes, yogurts, cereal and

Staff were lovely and welcoming. Room was perfect as a base for our stay. Was easy to find our way to the tram stop once we knew where it was. Easy access to Rome city via the tram, 15 minute journey. -
