Beautiful and spacious room,clean, comfortable bed, really friendly and helpful staff. Walk to the city center is 15-20 minutes. Just enough to cope with the good breakfast which was included in the rate.

We picked this hotel as we could park and its a 15 min walk into Florence . The rooms are lovely and so big and the bathroom was huge ! Staff all very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Florence and wants to stay in s small hotel .

Villa Antea is a little gem of Florence. Very close to city centre. Welcoming staff and wonderful setting in old palatial building. Everything about this hotel was perfect and great value for money.

The room is great and huge as we got a free upgrade to the best room. The host was really nice and provided a very helpful travel guide. Everything is good. We love it. The bathroom is clean with a huge bath and shower - one of the nicest part of the stay.
Breakfast is a bit worse than a four star hotel.
The perfect little getaway with a touch of luxury. The room was relaxing and spacious, the bed comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with many different choices. Waking up to the smell of fresh baked croissants. The house has a lot of history but is maintained very well and given a few contemporary touches so its both a mix of elegance and luxury. The owner Delitta was incredibly helpful and added to our short stay immensely. The housekeeper Florina was wonderfully charming and works very hard at making sure everyone is comfortable.
It is a little difficult to walk to from the train station with luggage. The roads are rough and narrow and sometimes crowded.Would recommend taking a taxi if you aren't traveling light. There is also the number 13 bus which is right outside the train station which stops Down the street a little.

There is only one thing to say: we booked one night but decided to stay for three! Very stylish, very cozy, very friendly! The warm and friendly welcomming together with the fine atmosphere make this villa a really nice and relaxed landmark within a beautiful but buisy town. Ask the very friendly people at the reception for places to eat in Firenze - you wont regret...;-)
Everything was great at the Villa Antea in Firenze, Italy. We spent a complete week in the city... and every day, as we went back to the hotel, after such exhausting walks and visits and sightseeing and heat (40° C), we felt as we came back "home" with so kind people to take care of anything we could need ! Simply a great experience !
