  Villa Ginevra Hotel de Charme in Acireale is a very nice place to be. It is placed just north of Aci Trezza. The hotel was perfect. The room (no 7) was very comfortable with a balcony against south. The balcony was very good for this time of the year (March) but will also be good when the sun is higher on the sky because of a big tree just outside... ce que les gens disent » the balcony. The staff was very nice and helpful. You have a very good breakfast and you can get coffee during the day, but there is no restaurant on - The hotel is easy to find; parking and elevator are a plus. Plenty of seafood restaurants within walking distance (go to the one that has the most customers!). Also bars where the local young people come out late in the evening to socialize and the old folks come out to watch them. I think many of the room photos on the website are taken in the annex which must be nicer than the main building where we stayed.

  We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The house is ancient but well res - What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful.   They have a beautiful swimming pool area and a bar/restaurant on the premises which is really nice to relax around. We were in a room across the road which has a very nice garden and terrace. It also had a kitchenette. It was only 20 minutes to the Etna South area where we could take the cable car.
