  The location is fantastic if you want to be near the masada! We spent one day at the Dead Sea which is not too far but requires a 15 mins bus ride... there is however a regular bus service and reception (a very sweet girl I forget her name!), who was always happy to help! The 2nd day we relaxed at the hotel as because it is mainly tour groups out ... ce que les gens disent » for most of the day, we had the pool basically to ourselves, overlooking the beautiful Masada! Rooms are simple but spacious, clean and great size bat - Large, well outfitted room with a huge balcony overlooking Dead Sea. Unbelievable location at foot of Masada. Unbeatable value. We had an unusual experience because the large group that had booked for the nights we were there cancelled at the last minute so we pretty much had the hostel to ourselves with only a handful of other people. Therefore, our experience was atypical with it being very quiet and peaceful. I gather that it usually is a boisterous place. However, we would go back there
