  amazing price-got 2 nights bed and breakfast and a 3 course evening meal for 148 euro for 2 people al inclusive, however, we found out it was a typo, but the hotel honoured the price - nice friendly atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful. food served was excellent

  We were very impressed with the guy who checked us in (unfort cannot remember his name). The room was lovely and we were given a family room with 2 double beds which was great and a wide screen tv which was great, tea making facilities in the room which did not exprect from a b&b and the shower was best ever. We booked a twin room as I was travelling with my friend and her young child. When booking it said that the twin room had a double and single bed in it which was perfect for us. however when we were shown to our room, we had a double bed each. the room was perfect for us as it appeared we had the luxury of a family room.   The location couldn't be better! We didn't know anything about the town when we arrived and found Elephant Guest House in short walking distance to nice restaurants, pubs with great music and of lovely little shops. The owners were lovely. Burnie met us when we arrived and gave us a great rundown on what we could do and then husband Des cooked... ce que les gens disent » a lovely breakfast in the morning and guided us down to our next location. Great value for money! - Des and Bernie are very warm, welcoming and so helpful. The decor was clean and modern (and what an amazing shower after a long day travelling!) They also accomodated needs such as gluten friendly requirements and were generous with breakfast portions. The beds were really comfortable and the room well lit. The location is also excellent - right in the centre of town
