The hotel was relaxed and the opportunity to chill out in the lounge with afternoon tea provided was very nice. I noticed some other guests - particularly children seemed to really enjoy it. There was ample seating and it was bright and airy - good for reading or chatting!!
The location was good too on the way to Muckross but near enough to town to walk.
There was a lot of menus of local eateries available in the lobby too which would have been very useful had they been pointed out to us...we

Our host Mary was exceptionally friendly and gave us a big welcome on arrival, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, beautiful location, a homely feel without anyone being intrusive, bedroom was an excellent size with turn down service at night with a chocolate left on pillow each evening, a nice surprise. -

Very friendly accommadating staff.
Very close to town centre.
My twin room was spacious, and although the shower room was small it had a very good power shower.
Part of our group were expecting a triple room but were given a huge sized quad room with very spacious bathroom.
Excellent breakfast with lots of choice...fruit juice,cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and then a full Irish breakfast.
I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

Service. The owner greeted us warmly and showed us to our rooms, then made us a pot of tea that we enjoyed as we overlooked the incredibly view of the sea. The place is updated, spacious with good amenities. Easy to find on the main road into Waterville. Angela very welcoming and gave us some good places to eat dinner. Room was very clean and the breakfast great - the porridge was fantastic :) -
