  We travelled to Ennis for the Fleadh Nua music festival on a budget and found the hostel to be just what we wanted. We took a family room with en-suite shower room for a week. Clean, comfortable, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The cooking facilities were well laid out and kept scrupulously clean despite the number of people passing thr... ce que les gens disent » ough. The hostel is situated just on the edge of the town centre so close to everything you want to see and close to music sessions but still quiet e - The room was very decent, the common areas were warm and friendly and the kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. Breakfasts were fairly plain (cereal and milk, toast, butter, jam, tea/coffee, orange juice and scones were offered) but plentiful and completely sufficient for our needs. The internet connection was excellent on the ground floor. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, and the location very scenic. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone on a budget and looking for a pleas

Comfortable bed with blankets and radiator with thermostatic valve so that I could adjust the temperature, working en-suite shower, museli, wholemeal soda bread or toast, cold meat and cheese, fruit etc for breakfast which was just fine for me. It makes the weekend so much cheaper when your not paying for taxis. The rates are very good aswel, they are extremely reasonable. I stayed in the banner lodge for the first time in June, I liked it so much that when I was booking a hotel for September up there I didn't even look at other hotels.
