  The B&B is in a wonderful location on the lower part of the Sky road, which is the top panoramic route in Clifden. From the windows of the room you can enjoy a picturesque view that will leave you amazed when oyu wake up and when you return at sunset time! The owner was really kind and we had a great time. We definitely recommend spending a night here. - The B&B overlooks a lake which had amazing sunsets. The room was really nicely decorated & comfortable. The owner made us feel welcome straight away & was very friendly. I would definately stay here again.

  I was put in a room with hardly any wifi signal. I asked if I could have another room as I really needed Internet access and they were very helpful and accomodated my request. Breakfast included fresh fruits and other healthy stuff.   Jane, the hostess, is wonderful and helpful. The food is lovely. Our needs were met, but there was never a sense of intrusion on our privacy. Our son loved playing with Jane's two small, very friendly and well mannered dogs. Heather Lodge has a spectacular view. - Everything about Heather Lodge was fantastic. Jane, the owner, and her family are just incredible people. The lodge was simply great and the best experience was that checking in and out was based on trust. Of course breakfast was wonderful and the view of the lake from our family room a bonus. We will be happy to return the someday when we visit again.

  Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The room was clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast, including nice choice of bread and good quality coffee. The staff were very willing to help and deal with any requests.   The friendly helpful service was exactly what we were looking for.There was plenty of facilities and the room was clean and tidy. We stayed for three nights and our room was cleaned each day and towels replaced which was a great touch. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty and the service was was fantastic. We had parking the whole weekend - Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. Guest house was close to all amenities in Clifden. Parking at guest house for residents only. Free use of computer in lounge with tea/coffee making facilities in lounge as well. Owners on site and always ready to help and advise as to where the best places to eat and which are the best scenic routes .

  The best B&B we have stayed in on our 10 days trip through Ireland! By far! Sue and her husband have been fantastic hosts. Book early and try to get a room with a view to the sea if possible but even if you can't you cannot go wrong with this B&B. The rooms are nice and clean and comfortable, the breakfast is in a beautiful room from where... ce que les gens disent » you can see the sea and breakfast itself was absolutely gorgeous (I am still dreaming of the pancakes ;-) ). From there it is only a 5min drive to Cl - We visit Clifden annually for the Connemara Pony Show and Sharamore House was the best B & B we have stayed in. Just minutes outside Clifden town it was in a beautiful setting, nice spacious bedrooms and the food was excellent, using home produced and local produce. Will definitely go there again.

  This was a very comfortable B&B. The hosts could not have been more caring. I became ill while there and had to stay in a couple of days. They went out of their way to check and insure my husband and I were comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more caring hosts! Location was gorgeous.
