Radagerdi Hostel - Photos
Ce que les gens disent
The owners went out of their way to make us welcome. I had contacted them in advance about somewhere to eat and they opened their cafe and cooked us a meal - The Pirate House Cafe near the harbour is to be recommended. Appearances can be deceptive - the hotel looks rather austere on the outside but inside it is modern and bright and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast too.
The building seems a bit of a work-in-progress, with access to the room via a very steep staircase, but overall we had a nice stay. The shared bathroom was clean and available, the breakfast was quite good, the location is excellent in a place where accommodations are limited. The price is pretty high for this type of hotel (hostel, really) even in Iceland.tous commentaires »
We loved Alda and David! They were the perfect host and made us feel very welcome from the beginning. They were very helpful as well! The place was very clean and comfortable. The facilities were wonderful and breakfast was VERY good! Loved this place and would definitely recommend to other travellers!.
The location of the hostel is excellent as a starting point to Latrabjarg and other attractions at the West fjords. The staff was helpful and friendly, the hostel was clean and even offered a nice breakfast. I would recommend to stay at Radagerdi Hostel.
The staff was great! Very helpful in providing us with recommendations and suggestions! Our room was fairly spacious. The room and bathrooms were very clean. The view from our window was looking out over the fjord and beautiful!.
Good location not to far from Latraberg bird cliffs. Very few tourists
(3%) make it to the Western Fjords. Why? It's remote and takes time
and planning to get there. But then beautiful and unspoiled place are
disappearing fast.
We appreciated to get a room with a private bathroom for the price of preordered room without one. Very pleasant and helpful host, always somewhere around, so there is no problem at any arrival time.
Wonderful views of the fjord. Spacious, bright and sunny room with use of large bathroom and lounge area.
Helpful staff and wide choice for breakfast.
Value for money, the amazing view over the fjord from the dining room. Facilities were much better than expected for a hostel.
All was very fine. Clean rooms with a magnificent view on Patreksfjördur. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
Good location, tasty and big breakfast. It's about 1 and half an hour drive from Latrabjarg (cliff with puffins).
Breakfast was very good, Bedroom had view on see and was nice and comfortable, Owner very kind.
Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Good clean room with firm bed.
Room and bathroom spotless. Lovely views across the fjord.
Nice well run clean with decent breakfast.
Nice room. Comfortable. Good breakfast.
the bath was good.
Very basic accommodation. Bathroom was ok.
Only had two bathrooms and they were both downstairs. Our room was right next to the breakfast area, so it was a little noisy when the first people began having breakfast. There are quite a few steps getting up to the front door (on the side of the building). Stairs inside were narrow. Stairs were not a problem for us, but just prepared.
Driving the long and winding dirt roads.
Good choice of food on breakfast, but very little amount of everything, so the girls were adding something non-stop.
The kitchen isn't very well equipped, making it hard to do your own cooking.
The building with broken concrete access path doesn't look attractive, but the inside is very fine. The breakfast room's architecture was a little minimalist.
The price BUT all hotels and guest houses we stayed ut were in our opinion over priced compared to all countries we have travelled to. And we have travelled a lot. Value for money is not the case in Iceland!.
Apart from the girl who checked us in ( wgpho was very friendly and welcoming) I felt the staff seemed a bit disinterested and not very attentive e.g. At breakfast no-one was checking whether items had run out, and we had to go to into the kitchen to ask for basic things like milk and coffee.
Expensive to have own bathroom.
Overpriced!!! I paid 90 euro, a better price will be 70euro.
the floor in our room was full of died flies and hair.
Nice design but too much Ikea (Beds was not confortables).
Dirty, others hair in the beds. Disgusting!.
