  The hotel was very elegant and well presented with a very impressive lobby. The concierge service was excellent, helped us book tickets for a boat cruise and recommended a restaurant that was excellent. We could not fault this hotel and will be sure to try and stay here when we visit this wonderful city again. We have already told all our friends how good Continental Hotel Zara was!

Also, when we did have some problems with our apartment (I.E. shower drain not working, toilet dripping and causing the floor to be wet), staff were very helpful. The staff were great!! Overall, we had a very positive experience.

  I can't recall staying in a better city centre hotel than this and all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. The conversion from a venerable old residence to a modern comfortable hotel has been carried out with style and panache. We had our room cleaned and towels/sheets changed every day. It 's location is also perfect, as it is close to everywhere in the city center and you can go around on feet.
