I have participated at the Budapest Nike Half Marathon and I choose this hostel because is across the Start/Finishing line.
The hostel is very well situated for sports, museums, Zoo and because it is very close from Petoffi Hall where often take place rock concerts.

Very friendly and helpful staff
Good location - just next to metro line, short walk distance to both Pest centre, and nightlife centre.
Nice communal areas. There is also wall sized map of Budapest with marked places worth visiting, which I find really good idea. -

nous n'avons pas aimé non plus de devoir prendre notre petit déjeuner dans le sous sol de l'hotel qui était très enfumé et de payer 2 euros par personne. For this money is very good. We must understand(for some previus commentators), this is just cheap slip option and not Ritz or hilton(for those you must pay a lot of money). The guy from Serbia was very nice and kind(also spoke a lot of lauguages). Iztok from SLO -

Very nice hostel, quiet and has no-shoes policy, so you got to put slippers on to be able to walk inside the hostel (which is fine with me as I don't wear shoes at home either). -Clean, big, and new room.
-The blankets and pillows smell very good and clean.

-Two shared toilets which are big and clean. I saw the housemaid did very good job. Even a hair she saw on the ground, she picked it up!
-We stayed friends hostel for 5 days, they helped us to wash clothes for free. And cleaned and hanged it in our room. Thank you so much.

The hostel is right near the subway so it is easy to reach all the parts

It was amazingly clean, esp for being a "hostel." It was an apartment broken up into rooms, but it was very safe. There were tons of keys and locks and I felt like the location was safe anyways. The staff spoke really good English and tried to help us find anything we had questions on. They are very knowledgeable about everything because they are

Really enjoyed our stay. - The rooms were clean and big, and since the hostel had just opened, everything was new and the interior was nice and fresh! the location is good, it is really close to the astoria metro station. the staff was friendly and helpful and when we wanted to stay one more night, it was no problem! you can also use their kitchen, washing maschine and so on. it was a really pleasant stay and I would definetely go there again! :)

Very good value for money - our own room for 5 people for 3 nights was 20 euros each.
The location was great, easy to walk everywhere and there was a cute little cafe on the corner which was open until 4am - so that was great for a late night chill! It did kareoke too and the locals singing were pretty amusing.

Location is simply perfect, everything's in walking distance in the
downtown. Further sites of Budapest can be cought by really cheap (~15€)
hop-on hop-off offer by the reception. Staff is really professinal and
kind, specially the guys (thanks for the bar recommendations).
Everything was clean and fresh. Definetelly recommended to other
backpackers.
