  Super auberge pour jeunes souhaitant s'amuser et connaître Budapest de nuit. Personnel très accueuillants, et les activités proposées vraiment sympa ! Ravie d'avoir passé une semaine à Hostel California Budapest :) - Really friendly staff who were ready to help with anything. lots of cute girls too which always is nice.

  We stayed there 3 nights and we enjoyed it. The room was clean, so the bathroom and the kitchen. It was good that we were close to the center of Budapest, we had shops, malls, restaurants, everything close to us. The bus station and the metro station was also close, so as a location it was great. Got there from the airport within 45 minutes on public transport. Very near to the M1 and M3 metro lines and the 4 + 6 tram lines so could go anywhere fast. Friendly manager who spoke good English. Rooms were simple but adequate with a comfy bed and a good pillow. We thought it was good value for money.

  The hostel is centrally located and very good for young travelers. The English speaking staff a very friendly and helpful. highly recommended for budget travelers. - Staff was so helpful and nice. Common areas and toilets were clean.

  Very nice cute hostel, liked the location, close to the metro and attractions of the center Budapest. I loved the staff, friendly people and willing to help... There is a kitchen where you can cook or something to warm up in the microwave. I had a single room. The metro is - The location is all sorts of perfect-right by the underground, right by a cute lil farmers market and a 20 minute tree lined walk to the Fine Arts Museum, plus some nice bars and cafes. Seriously the location is wonderful.The building is lovely as well-a little old and rundown but in a kinda fairytaleish way, and is very roomy, not cramped at all. You have your own sense of space even in the shared rooms. For the price its seriously a total steal.

  C'était super, auberge très chaleureuse, staff vraiment sympa et très bonne ambiance avec les autres clients. J’avais de la chance car le jour ou je suis arrivé il y avait un repas traditionnel hongrois, excellent d'ailleurs! merci Blanka ;-) puis le staff nous a emmené dans des bars authentique de Budapest. C'est une ville qui bouge bien. Dommage... ce que les gens disent » d'être resté une seule nuit, je recommande cette auberge !

  the staff was very nice and helpful (advising places to see, if i had problem they were always there), the hostel is very cosy and friendly. Its a hostel, not a luxury hotel. Everything was as i expected and as on the pictures, was totally satisfied, very atmospheric. The accommodation was ok, didnt have any problems about the cleanliness. This is a simple hostel to stop for a few days. I you have some money and you want to sleep in a clean and a large room, this hotel is for you. We stayed for one night by 4 members. It's a great place for a group of young and cheerful tourists.

  Very nice hostel, quiet and has no-shoes policy, so you got to put slippers on to be able to walk inside the hostel (which is fine with me as I don't wear shoes at home either). Rooms are very warm, and since I'm used to lower temperatures I had to open windows a few times to get some cool air in... Perfect - -Excellent location. -Clean, big, and new room. -The blankets and pillows smell very good and clean. -Big windows in the room. -Two shared toilets which are big and clean. I saw the housemaid did very good job. Even a hair she saw on the ground, she picked it up! -We stayed friends hostel for 5 days, they helped us to wash clothes for free. And cleaned and hanged it in our room. Thank you so much. -The receptionist helped us everyday, he booked the caving tour, sold the reservation spa tickets,
