  We received a very warm Cretan welcome from Kiria Chryssa and her daughter Galia who spoke excellent English. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, fresh towels and cleaning were provided every other day and we had fresh sheets in the middle of our stay. We also enjoyed the mini menagerie consisting of numerous hens, (quiet ones too) a small herd of goats - very friendly hoster, good location, quiet place (appartments and beach - both), very easy to reach Retimno' center. Location was amazing too - convenient for bus station and right in the quieter and beautiful streets of the Old Town. I hope her plans for restoration of the rest of this mansion are fulfille - Everything! We stayed in the maisonette and it fitted the bill perfectly, all facilities provided. Our hostess went beyond the call of duty and her staff could not have been more pleseant and obliging. The location was perfect for us to explore the town without having to walk miles and bearing in mind we were there for the Easter celebrations we were in a fairly quiet area.
