Outside the city fuss this beautiful hidden place is excellent when you look for quiet and stunning environment. Car is essential as it would be anywhere in Mykonos for people who plan to see a bit more than a hotel pool. We were 2 couples and we wanted apartment with kitchen, to have breakfast on veranda. Casa del mar was perfect for that too! Pictures are the mirror of reality, we recommend definitely.

Sofos hotel is a fantastic place to stay in the lovely seaside of Saint George! The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sofos Studios. After a warm welcome from Victor at the reception, we were dazzled by the amazing view across saint George beach. Simply spectacular. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean, with free wifi included. The pool and spa area was the perfect place for unwinding. Beautiful Santorini property with stunning views of the caldera. I had a suite with a private plunge pool and thoroughly enjoyed my 5 day stay. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive with the right mix of being there when needed and leaving me alone. Private cave swimming was an unexpected surprise.

We stayed in the apartment one week in the beginning of july.
We had a big apartment (for 3 persons but we were 2). It was very clean (cleaned every day and towels were changed every day). There were smalls bottles of shower gel, shampoo, ... (Replaced when they are finished).
There is also everything to cook (even dishwashing liquid and sponge).
The location is excellent (1 min walking of the bus station, and 5 minutes walking to the town center).

The hotel Plaka is near the camping Plaka, it shares the reception, bar- restaurant, supermarket and the swimmingpool. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment was cleaned everyday. The beds were really confortable. Breakfast was good but was the same things each day, no variety.
The place is 5 minutes walking to the beach. Fantastic place!!
