Villais villas is perfect. Our host Loukas bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The suite was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is provided and contains fruit, fresh bread and something cooked, a great way to start your day. Imerovigli is a 20-30 minute walk away from the capital (Thira) and has a couple of fantastic taverna's. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a great location overlooking the caldera. All the views are just stunning, and although you don't get the famous "sunset" of Oia, we loved the changing colors of the sky against the volcano (a more unique view than a sunset, in my opinion).

Akrolithos is amazing. It has a nice swimming pool with stunning view to the caldera. Our room -and I think all rooms- had the same view. It is not luxurious, but was refurbished this year and very clean. The breakfast is served by the pool, normally until 11 o'clock, but they were happy to serve it even at 13.00, when we were waking up! Our stay at the Aqua Luxury Suites was the highlight of our two-week trip to the Greek isles. My husband and I found this an ideal spot for our honeymoon. A few things to note:

We (4 adults and a 2,5 year child) stayed 3 nights at the wonderful Grand Suite with an astonishing view of the lagoon and volcano. Even though it might not be advisable for such a small child due to steep climb to and from the Suite it was still pretty much manageable. Dès notre arrivée nous avons apprécié la gentillesse et le professionnalisme de James, jeune propriétaire manager et de son équipe. Les suites juniors disposent chacune de 2 terrasses orientées levant et couchant. La vue de la terrasse depuis la chambre et la terrasse de l'hôtel sur la Caldera est magnifique. La piscine est grande comparée à dautres hôtels de la place. Le bus pour Fira ou Oia s'arrête devant l'hôtel.
