We enjoyed Chania and the hotel very much.
We live in Crete (East) but have not been to Chania before and we found the old port to be very beautiful.

Chania, Palazzo Duca is perfect! It is a fancy place--beautiful, clean,
and polished. Every staff member is exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Our hotel room was a palace! Very comfortable king size bed, sitting
area with table and chairs, patio with view of harbor with table and
chairs, a kitchenette in the room stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking
pans plus refrigerator. The bathroom was lovely with a heavenly large
shower.

The staff was very helpful, the room was large, very comfortable and clean and they even provided with a temporary room to leave our luggage in and have a shower (after we checked out on the day of departure). The staff was extremely nice. They booked a taxi to the airport for us
for a very good price and they recommended us good restaurants and
places to visit. The location of the hotel is also perfect, close to the
city center but far away from the noise. They also offer free wifi and
the breakfast worth the 4€ it costs. -

The staff without exception could not do enough to make our stay perfect. Our room was not what I expected and I was told they were fully booked. After 3 nights I checked on letsbookhotel.com and discovered they had a suite available and we were moved. I think it was a misunderstanding and they very kindly did not charge us for the upgrade. Could not have asked for more in a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful with plenty of great recommendations. The location of the hotel was great, still close to the port but just away from all the noise that comes from the restaurants.
The rooms were comfortable and designed individually, a bit like a home away from home. Each room also has a lovely view.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania.

Absolutely exquisite.
Room was beautifully designed, bed wonderfully comfortable, facilities excellent, a complete pleasure to be in.
Breakfast was a rare treat with great food in lovely surroundings.
Position of the hotel was perfect. Right in the heart of the old town so a few metres from the harbour, the shops and restaurants but an oasis of peace and comfort as soon as you stepped back inside the hotel.
