  The hotel located in a nice and quiet area of the city, just several steps away from the metro station. 15 minutes walk to the cathedral, 10 minutes to Belgian quarter. We had the room 52 as we asked (thank you by the way!).   Room was very clean, completely new furnished, hotel very near to central station, hbf and cologne dom, the old market and the rhein river (all can be reached by walk 10-15 min).   What a great hotel! The rooms were a good size, clean, comfortable and in a nice quiet location. A quiet street just next to the Dom and a main shopping street, perfect. Also the breakfast was amazing! Great selection of foods and plenty of fresh fruit available all the time. All the sites we wanted to see were within 5-10 min. walking distance. The National Socialist Museum was right around the corner. This is a house whose basement was converted into jail/torture cells during WWII. A must see!

  Loved the location of the hotel which is so close to the DOM Cathedral, the Rhine River (which extends to 4 countries) the city center with shops, pick up point for city tour and Cologne's tourist center. Restaurants abound in its vicinity. Hotel room was enormous ( we got upgraded), clean but styled in the 80's. For those with heavy luggage, there is one flight of stairs to take you - The room was as advertised, clean with all required amenities. Breakfast was awesome with a wide choice of hot and cold food and beverages. Staff was really welcoming and helpful plus they offer you as much fruits as you want and one free bottle of water daily, which was really fantastic. The location is also just a 5 minute walk from the Dom and central station plus there is a metro station just in front of the hotel. Great experience and hotel!
