The owner, Armani and his wife took care of me as if I had been a member of their family. They were so kind and caring, it was incredible. I will go back next year for the Berlinale, without a doubt. Plus the fact that the hotel is 5 minutes from a major u-bahn station, 10 min. away from the Berlinale center, in a lively but safe neighborhood. -

Firstly, after we made our reservation, the owner of the b&b gave us a detailed instructions to get to the place which I find to be of most help. We rented the apartment and although the place was a bit cramped with the sofa bed laid out, it was a very comfortable stay. The apartment was very well equipped. An outstanding overall experience at Bananas: modern and comfortable rooms, multiple shared bathrooms so never a wait, high standards of cleanliness, shared kitchen with espresso machine, strong Wi-Fi provided throughout. Located next door to metro station and supermarket, cafes, restaurants within 5 minute walk. Prices were excellent and owners are very hospitable and welcoming.

We had a studio apartment and it worked out well. We were able to buy a few breakfast items, snacks, and beverages. This is a beautiful hotel and we wished we could have stayed a month instead of 3 days. 4 poster bed was just as shown on the website. We weren't aware of the lack of an airconditioner as it wasn't necessary in the spring weather. Location was good once we'd found out where the nearest underground was (as opposed to Central Railway). -
