  Pfefferbett is a really cool hostel that's been recently renovated. It's modern and clean and has a range of excellent facilities. Luggage storage is handy and the buffet breakfast for €6.50 is great value and has good variety. Room with private bathroom was really nice and very clean. Fairly big secure locker included in the price, each bed has a light and electricity socket, my room had a private bathroom too even if not specified in the booking, not sure if all rooms have it.

  The hostel is located right next to Voltarstrasse u-bhan station (Underground) which was quite handy. But if you are up for a walk then Alexanderplatz is only 25 mins away. Alternatively you can hire a bike from the hostel for only €10 a day (Berlin is very cycle-friendly). Free use of internet (incl PC) in the reception area.   The staff is very polite and do their work well. Their facilities are also in very good conditions, and the staff is very receptive to fix any problems that may occur. The bathroom/wc and kitchen and living area is being cleaned every day. Overall the place is very comfortable and you really get your value for money. Yes it's not the most luxurious hotel in Berlin as well as not the best located one. But the price corresponds and it offers a great value for money.   When I saw the building from the outside I was a bit disappointed but then, once inside, everything changed. The apartment was really cozy, nicely furnished and very clean. My room was big and very nice as well! The position of the apartment is really good, just a few metro stops from the main attractions.   The room was very nice and clean. The beds comfortable. The shower excellent. The staff friendly and helpful. Very close to everything in Berlin - Very comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent - such a range of foods to choose from. All the staff were very efficient.

  I only stayed one night, but it was very nice. A big clean room with a big comfortable bed, a nice desk to work in the window, and fast wifi. It is an easy walk from the U-Bahn station. The hosts were very welcoming. I arrived wet from the rain, and they put out hot tea for me, and even loaned me an umbrella for the day. Is located between 2 ubahn stations ( wittenbach and the one we used Nollendorf.) There are many nice cafes within 2 blocks and a wonderful grocery store across the street. It is just 2 blocks to KaDeWe and a post office.
