  Location was excellent, a few steps from the subway (U-Bahn) as well as many restaurants, bars, local shops, etc... we felt like locals in the apt. Marienplatz is also a few minutes walking. The owner of the apartment was very kind with us (she bought us wine and local sweets as a gift :), apartment was very clean , spacious and confortable, could... ce que les gens disent » n`t be any better.

  This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. Also, it is only a 3-5 minute walk to Marienplatz (which is another good location). We a... ce que les gens disent » lso enjoy the breakfasts at this hotel, with a nice choice of meats, cheese, and breads. - The location is fabulous. You can walk to everything -- and we did! Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!
