The hotel is just a block from the main shopping street and 2 blocks from the S7/S5/S75 line and 2 blocks from the U1 lines so it's really convenient. It was fairly close to shops in town, but at least 10mins walk to the nearest train station. Location was quiet and we felt very safe. No access to public, which was good and safe. Kids enjoyed it.   I booked this Apartment after reading good reviews and they didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly.   I appreciated very much the kindness of the Landlady Miss Sybille who went out of her way in order to be helpful. She gave me all the information I needed in order to move around Berlin and the last morning of my stay she even cooked a 'personalised' breakfast for me. The U-Bahn station Ernst Reuter Platz is about 300 metres away. Absolu - This must be the friendliest & best value for money pension in Berlin. Ideally situated for a city break, close to Tegel airport & just 20 mins on the underground to the city centre. The host is very friendly & attentive & spent a great deal of time helping me plan my visit & sightseeing. Breakfast was superb. If I ever visit Berlin again, this would be the place I would stay!
