  The location was excellent. We booked a room with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and it was all it was made out to be - just wonderful. There are only 6 rooms here with most only 1 flight up. It's a quick 5 minute walk to the ticket center for the castle & the King's childhood home.   The hotel is beautiful!! The staff was excellent. Very helpful. I like that most of them spoke English. My room was wonderful. I loved the bathrobes. I also liked having a bathtub.

  Notre chambre de catégorie supérieuse était magnifique, bravo pour lesoin du détail et de la décoration. L'hôtel est très beau, lesserveuses du restaurant sont en costume régional et la nourriturelocale bien bonne. - L'accueil du personnel était excellent et la proximité avec les châteaux étaient vraiment agréable.

  Our stay was absolutely fabulous! The location was perfect, and only a short 15 minute walk to the castles. Haus Alpenrose was very accommodating to us arriving late, and even had dog treats waiting for our dog! The room was very large, and the entire house was peaceful. We never heard noise, and felt as if we were the only ones there! We could not say one bad thing about our - Super nice place and well equipped and maintained. I must say that we were happy we chose this Hotel. The rooms on the above floors had a new Kitchenette and the bathroom were newly done and all kitchen equipments provided were very new and clean. Thanks very much. Free parking was also available and around 5 mts ride to the booking office for the castle tours. The owners were very kind and even offered to support with breakfast being arranged, nice people...surely go again.
