  This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. Also, it is only a 3-5 minute walk to Marienplatz (which is another good location). Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

  you can walk for the central train station and go anywhere....but you are in downtown and can visit almost everything by foot! nice coffees and markets at the next block. the one room apto is a reversable living/bedroom. Bed is ok, sheets too. Pillows are very thin.... Towels are slightly old... and small. Great shower. The kitchen is - Excellent facilities in the room. L'hotel n'est pas très loin du centre (la gare centrale), on accède à la gare centrale en 10 minutes en bus (arrêt du bus à 3 ... ce que les gens disent » minutes à pieds de l'hotel). - Pour un prix aussi bas pour un 4 étoile, on ne s'attendait pas à des miracles. Plus grand donc a été la surprise a l'arrivée ! Une cuisine toute équipée dans une chambre spacieuse et confortable digne d'un vrai 4 étoile, pour le prix d'un 2 étoiles...
