We loved our big room with the huge balcony. It felt very private and quiet; we were surprised to see other guest during the breakfast next morning. The breakfast was great with good variety of food.

  We stayed for one night only, the service was excellent and the friendly staff were attentive to all our needs. A nice touch was the free train travel voucher they give you to explore Freiberg, the station being a five minute walk from the hotel, with regular half hour trains to the city centre taking about 10-12 mins. Car parking on site and free. - excellent room and breakfast. Run by lovely helpful couple Ensured we had a special pass allowing us to travel around area on trains a buses, as far as Basel for FREE.V useful for visiting wine fairs and Freiburg. We did not get chance to eat in restaurant but apparently our host is a well known local chef. However when we arrived back late requesting only a snack they produced a delicious Flamkuchen which they need not have done and was much appreciated.
