  great small hotel to stay. very nice big room. bathroom is new, good and clean. the 'shared dinner' room with a fire place is cute. you can even make dinner and have coffee, thee etc. for free. - Very spacious and comfortable room with large shower room.   Used as a stop over on the way home from skiing. Almost exactly midway from the slopes to Calais. Extremely helpful couple ( American service mixed with Cuban energy) who run the hotel. Well decorated with a good shower and good beds. Family suite good value for money and feels like a small apartment. Dinner in our room on arrival was superb - plenty of space with armchairs and waited on by our hosts. An overnight stop en-route to the Alpes but would certainly make a base for exploring the town of Langres and surrounding area. Just perfect.

  We stayed at this hotel 3 weeks previously, to break our journey from Provence to the Channel Tunnel, for England. This overnight was on our return trip to Provence. It is ideally placed for a "stopping-off point" & we have stayed here about 8 times recently - that, in itself, constitutes a strong recommendation! The chef is great! Fine meals in true French style. Manager and staff were very friendly.
