  The staff were very friendly and the ones we dealt with spoke excellent English - those who didn't were equally as helpful but used more pointing :-). Really appreciated the room upgrade -room was great. Food was excellent.   Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel in a stunning location in the heart of Chablis. The room was large, with an excellent bathroom and aircon which was essential as the outside temperature during our stay reached 35 degrees! The gourmet restaurant was expensive but justified ite table distinguee status. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed too. The Dining Room was amazing. We had a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast was a treat too. - Stylish hotel in nice little town. Looking at previous reviews I think it must now have been re-decorated. Stayed in main part this time where rooms are smaller but still with good facilities. Restaurant is high quality but not for budget guest. Staff are efficient and polite.

  Staff was great, the two girls who did the shift were absolutely fantastic. They did not have much English but they were very helpful and wanted to understand me and there were no issues. Pleasant reception and care during stay, though no English.   Location for walking around the old town. Parking was plentiful and on site, rare for an in town hotel in France. - The hotel was quiet, clean and reasonably priced. Staff were courteous and the food was good with good service.

  I liked the free on-site parking, the owner offering to carry cases, the unusual old building, the very attractive dining room with pleasant food if you did not feel like exploring the town that night, the lovely clean brasserie near by for coffee with a croissant bought from the baker's next door, the closeness of the hotel to the town, and espec... ce que les gens disent » ially the brilliantly lit bedroom which actually made reading easy, rather than the dim, glow worm like semi-darkness of most hotel rooms. Also liked - Stopped over here on a drive from Bordeaux to Champagne. We were two couples staying in a four person room on the top floor of the main building (two doubles). Room was large enough for all of us, clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well in our room. We ate a nice meal at the hotel's restaurant that night. Staff were all friendly and spoke enough English for us not to have to resort to our embarrassing small amount of French. In summary, no complaints!
