  The hotel is hidden behind the walls of an old castle perched high up on a mountain hill in a village 30 minutes from Tignes and Val DIsere. The owner is very welcoming and will go out of the way to make you feel at home at this meticulously designed property.   Inexpencive stop, very nice rooms, clean. Host is friendly. Good bed. Location is a little bit isolated. You have to go to another town for diner or shopping. - Inexpensive stopover on the Route des Grandes Alpes but you'll need to drive to a local town for an evening meal or cook your own.
