  The hotel is in a peaceful setting close to the wood but not too far from Ambois . It is very ideal to travel around the Loire Valley from this point. We had a perfect stay and were received by a very gentle host. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is neatly arranged with local stuffs.   We just loved the setting of the Chateau, its most interesting history & unspoilt beauty. Location was great with Amboise just minutes down the road offering cafe's, restaurants, weekend market, historic Chateau & more. Our room was very pretty, complete with the biggest claw foot bat - Chateau de Nazelles was out of a fairy tale. The rooms were unique parts of the original 16th century castle. We stayed in the guest house suite, which was marvelous. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the suite, the kitchen, dining table, and separate "man cave" which in fact was a cave built into the limestone cliff.   We had a fantastic time at La Closerie Saint Vincent. Marie and her family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. She helped us by making phone calls to our car rental and hot air ballooning companies, and she made wonderful breakfasts with homemade jam from her own fruit trees. You won't be disappointed! - I loved the old house which has beautifully renovated as a B&B with wonderful decor and every comfort. The breakfast was excellent with fresh, home cooked jams and cakes and the location perfect for a trip to the chateaus of the Loire Valley. Marie, the host, could not have been more helpful with her suggestions about places to visit. I would highly recommend the B&B for a perfenct stay in the Loire Valley.
