We loved the room which was a converted priory complete with vaulted ceiling and chandelier. It was across the lane from the cathedral which was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It was a really quiet location with a comfortable bed. It was a great base for visiting the Somme battlefields -

The hotel is well-situated, and typical of an older french hotel. Although it looks a little tired in places, it is very clean, the rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. The Le Carlton is in a great location within walking distance of the train station, cathedral and city centre. The room that we had was spacious, clean and we appreciated the double glazing. The staff were amazing and I would like to congratulate them on being the most helpful, professional and pleasant people that we have dealt with. For example they went out of their way to assist us when our Somme Tour operator didn't arrive at the designated time.

Excellent location, close to the main shopping street, the Cathedral and the University of Jules Verne, some great restaurants and cafes at 10 minutes walk, the rooms are generally clean and the staff is friendly. -

The location is ideal for visiting the cetre. the cathedral and the university area as well as the older section of the city. Parking is reasonable as there is a speacial of 11 dollars to come and go freely for 3 days. The food is very reasonable and good value. The rooms are well arranged and have every comfort you would need (except room service for those who might require it).

The hotel is situated in a great spot within Amiens - easy walking distance to some superb restaurants all recommended to us by the owner Estelle. Talking of Estelle, she is a lovely lady who is very eager to please and help in anyway. Breakfast was lovely, more than you can eat and the room was superb with a fantastic bathroom. YOU MUST STAY HERE!!! Thank you Estelle, your hotel is wonderful!!!
