  A wonderful stylish hotel, peaceful and beautifully French, which is why we chose it. Lovely Decor, comfortable beds and an enormous sitting room shared with friends. Ideally placed for exploring Carcassonne Cite, the canal du Midi and shopping in the town centre. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh croissant and baguette, butter, jams, cereals, fresh fruit salad - The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we were unaware

  Single room was small but comfortable, with shower and basin. Toilet was just down the hall. A small lift meant you didn't have to negotiate the stairs with bags. Close to the train station, it allowed me easy access for a late night arrival. About only a 15 minute walk to the historic Carcassonne walled city. Owners did not speak much English but... ce que les gens disent » were friendly and very helpful. Close to shops and eateries. Cheap Wi-Fi access. Enjoyed my stay there. - This was a very typically French hotel which due to location, welcome and comfort was a joy to stay in. From arrival to departure the Proprietor was a joy and his attempts at encouraging guests to practice their French as he practiced his English was just brilliant. We travel regularly between France and Scotland,don't know when we are due next to travel from Carcassonne to Glasgow but would definitely stay here again. Merci Monsieur Proprietor

Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.

  Passer une nuit sur une péniche était une expérience nouvelle pour moi et j'ai adoré! Ca fait très différent des hôtels ou B&B traditionnels. Les hôtes sont excessivement gentils. Ils nous ont recommandé un délicieux resto où aller souper, qui s'appelle Les Jardins en Ville. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. La chambre était très propre, mod... ce que les gens disent » erne et fonctionnel. Elle était étonnement plus grande que la chambre de certains hôtel à Paris! - Lieu a la fois paisible et animé, a 2 pas de Carcassonne, avec vignes a perte de vue et écluses / va-et-vient des bateaux. Propriétaires a la fois discrets et chaleureux, nous offrent des bonne conseilles et très bons scone / yaourts faits maison. La salle de bain est plus grande et confortable que ce qu'on peut imaginer d'une cabinet en bord.

  Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later. We Will definitely return to this guest house. - This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster.

  The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The hotel was very well kept with a lovely clean pool area and hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out but overall... ce que les gens disent » this is a great hotel in the perfect location at a good price. I cannot fault aragon. - The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.

  The hotel was very well situated for a comfortable 15 min walk to the Old City. For those who cannot walk to far, there is the local tourist train that leaves from the doorstep and takes you directly to the Old City. The hotel is very easy to find and the off road parking is a nice bonus. We paid a lot less staying here than staying in the Old City itself. - The hotel was a typical French hotel. We opted for this hotel as we wanted something that wasn't like every other hotel chain. Quirky and very different from your chain hotels. Our room was quite big for a French hotel and the decor was as we expected. We stayed in room 23. The breakfast was French as you would expect and all the staff were polite and friendly.

  Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! Very easy walk to old cite and easy drive from motorway for daytrips around area. Cathy is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeously set up. Be aware thi - The helpful and friendly staff. The location, which is adjacent to La Cite and within easy walking distance of Carcassonne. The room was well equipped and spacious. The tapas in the restaurant was excellent. I cannot fault Le Passage
