The hotel is rather good for its money. Breakfasts are ok, staff are hospitable. We like the place where the hotel is. Once we went by bus to the city center, watched the rout, next times we walked, cause it's rather close. Also there are lots of restaurants with local cuisine near. Very good and friendly staff works in reception.
Breakfast could be improved, but in case that it is 3 stars hotel, they are a above the middle.
Location, keeping the price in mind, is really good, it is not far from center. For example, it took no longer than 30 minutes on foot to reach the astronomical watch.
There is a lot not expensive restaurants or bars around the hotel.

First: the location, although un-popular location, namely "not in
center of town" I congratulated myself for choosing it for being so
close to the air-terminal of my flight home [carrying heavy luggage],
yet with excellent public transportation connection to any and every
touristic spot in Prague. Second: I enjoyed the big , comfortable and
well lit room and the amenities [shower and sink plus a refrigerator,
inspite the fact that hte wc and the self-catered kitchen are in the
common corridor].

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the short train trip, 3 stops ,and you were in the centre of town. The breakfast was good and the evening meal on the terrace was excellent, we even enjoyed watching a wedding when we were there.

Perfect ratio price/location. Hostel's situated nearby Prague 1 and it's 5 minutes walk to get to the underground station. Everything was good except doorways between rooms which are quite thin and the noise coming from one room is strongly spreading to another. Hope somehow administration will solve this problem:) -
