  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The showers were great with lots of hot water. The room was basic with just 2 beds & lockers but very clean. It was a 10 minute walk to Old Town and the tram stops, farmers market and grocery store were all just round the corner. When you get off the tram turn left and walk along Ilica Ave and then ... ce que les gens disent » left again at the very first corner (about 250m from tram stop). The hostel is about 250m down on the left side of the street in a little alcove area - A hostel with ideal location - right in the very center of the city. The room was clean and with the basic facilities. The personel was helpful. It is more suitable for younger people or for open-minded mature couples since there is no option for en suite bathroom. However, the location and the amiable atmosphere make the Brit Hostel a place of choice for Zagreb.

  This is a beautiful hotel with nice and professional staff with nice sense of humour. A special thanks to Mia that was really helpful and she knows everything about Zagreb by heart and still double check with Google to be sure. They have a new concept that gives the extra value and - A lovely, small boutique hotel of just 6 rooms. Very unusual architect-designed house on 3 levels (no lift, if stairs are a problem for you) that overlooks greenery & trees. Lovely sitting-out areas and an excellent, light & airy breakfast room. The breakfast was elegantly served and the food of good quality, especially the breads. Comfortable, stylish, well-furnished and well-lit room. Very friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay welcoming and comfortable
