We enjoyed a week stay with the grandparents and our children age 5 and 7. Clean large pool, 7 min. walk to the beach, boat rental and day trips available, 2 restaurants, ice cream shop and a market for daily shopping as well as dog friendly. Short drive to Pula city center. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Children's nightly dance party was a must for our two!!

great stay - spacious apartament with quite well equipped kitchen (but no kettle available!), close to the rocky beach, quiet (provided you like countryside noise of neighbouring rooster, we did :-)).

The location of Villa Squero was perfect. The first 2 nights we stayed in the attic room where we were happy except for the bonking of our heads on the angled ceiling. We just loved everything. From the location to the fantastic breakfast on the terrace to the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Also, the little touches, like the bottle of sparkling water in the fridge and a gateau to nibble each evening on our return. The hotel is so good for both the old town of Rovinj and also for the wonderful coast line, which we could explore on the free bikes which we got from the hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The property has a beautiful garden, a very good restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a playground for children. Just outside Pula at Pjescana Uvala. Large older style apartment above the family's house, real wood not plastic. Very large terrace with full views over beach, harbour & islands. Very good clean safe beach & restaurants. Short bus ride from Pula which is also nice with island boat trips & a roman arena, etc. Owner met me from airport & showed me round Pula. The owners were very friendly and even though we arrived late (at 3 a.m.!!) because we had car problems, they didn't seem to have a problem with it.
The apartment was really nice and quiet with a small terrace, the bed big and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. -

The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. Extremely friendly, helpful and very professional English speaking staff. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection. We were so impressed we stayed on for an additional two days on a half board basis which at 72 Euro was outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.
