Loved my stay at the Marriott, location is perfect as very close to Nanjing road and restaurants. Staff were helpful, receptive & professional. Facilities are of course top-notch and very high standards. I would stay here again.

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

Everything was excellent: spacious and clean room, impressive lobby,
breakfast buffet with variety choices (both western and Japanese food),
good service and good location (close to the metro station and shopping
streets). We booked train tickets to Beijing and tickets for the
acrobatic show via business centre, this was very convenient. -

Location of the One Apartment only minutes walk from all main shopping. Easy walk to Metro station on Nanjing Rd (W). Overall standard very high of the apartment we were assigned, flexibility of the small kitchen gave us everything we were looking for. We would recommend to anyone. -

The location of the hotel cant be better. Right in the middle of the
city, on the famous pedestrian street nanjing road and next to
people's park. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich
and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our
room on the 37th floor as well.

Room was huge (approx. 35sqm) and really comfortable, first mini-bar filling included (coke, sprite, beer, water and snacks).

One of the best city hotels I have ever been! Deluxe room is very spacious, light, clean, modern... all positive! Staff is helpful, buffet breakfast is with wide choices of fresh made food! A very comfortable room in all ways, bed, bathroom etc. the pool was gorgeous, not crowded and great temperature. Also liked the spa before swimming. Loved the welcome plate of fresh fruit, chocolates and bottle of red wine. -

This is a great hotel to overnight between flights to and from Shanghai Pudong airport. Short taxi ride from pvg airport,shopping mall at the back of the hotel
and easy walk to busy shopping areas.Great room service, excellent
bathroom. No problems finding English speaking staff and all were
courteous and friendly.Room was much better than I expected for the
money paid. Free shuttle bus to airport as well! Hint: when travelling
by taxi have the phone number of your hotel for the driver, they dont
speak english but will ring the hotel for directions.

The hotel sets global heating and cooling and that is the temperature you have in your room. I complained fou7r times in ten days. My room was like a furnace and I had the thrmostat set at 18. One night it was s
