  Après un 1er séjour de 2 jours, ma chambre "de luxe" a été "up- gradée pour mon 2e passage tout en conservant le même prix. J'ai été absolument ravie et impressionnée par le magnifique "appartement" luxueux qui m'a été proposé, de nouveau avec une baignoire avec vue sur la ville, un très beau décors, un salon séparé, très grand confort. Petit-déjeuner avec terrasse ouverte - Hotel très bien situé, on peut aller à pied au jardin YuYuan, à la promenade sur le Bund, puis au People's Square aussi. Personnel très gentil et parlant bien anglais. Clean room, comfortable bad, large bathroom with huge shower. The building certainly has a special historical charm, but the rooms are functionally modern. To my pleasure, there was very little traffic noise, despite being on a very busy street.   Stayed here for four nights in May 2013. We were upgraded to a boutique suite at check in in the 5th floor. Most of the pictures online are for rooms on this floor. The room was very nice, spacious by China standards and clean. Bed was hard but this is normal in China. The bathroom appeared recently re-done. Shower pressure was great. Bathroom was also clean and roomy, with all necessary amenities, towels changed daily.   I took a single room for one night and I liked the atmosphere of the hostel very much. It is located in a nice street, not far away from the tube station and absolutely in the center.   Paid less than 250Yuan using a promotion, got queensize bedroom with window. Staff was supportive and very discrete, no troubles at all. Good balance quality/price. Location is just behind xintiendi pedestrian street (4 minutes walking distance). - Not 3 star hotel . And the wi fi is not working
