The "club" category rooms have impressive view over the Bund
and the City, especially the spot scene of Pudong by night. All the
complimentary services are also quite good (permanent access to soft
drinks, some small food, etc.).
Swimming pool in floor 21 is a big plus, for both view and relax after the hot summer weather.

It is the best possible location for a short stay in Shanghai. Visiting
for bussines but wanting to visit the attractions of the city, location
is best near the Chinese old part , Yu garden, Bund. The Club ideea is
wonderful, the view from club lounge is amazing. And the pool view is
wonderful.

La chambre était grande et nous avons apprécié la baignoire (grande!) - Chambre spacieuse, comfortable. Portiers et bagagistes très sympa. Et unpti dèj qui a changer depuis le mois de mars!!! Bonne hotel sur Shanghaique je recommande.

The hotel is very well located downtown, at a walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are clean and confortable. The location of this hotel is amazing. It's not far from East Nanjing Road metro station. There is exchange machine in the lobby. The staff speak English and they are very friendly.
The room is cosy and has a bath, what is a really rare thing for China. I am sure that I will stay there every time I come to Shanghai.

Good location, just 100 m from Nanjing Road (if you like it), right in the middle between The Bund and People's Park. There surely are other hotels with a prime view, like Hyatt On The Bund, The Peninsula, Shangri-La on the Pudong side of the Huanghu river but compare the rates. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the pedestrian street and public transport, but far enough to not get any noise from it. Lobby is grand, and the open restaurant is excellent, get the grilled salmon for lunch! Gym facilities and pool is fantastic, lots of space and good equipment. The room & bathroom are spacious and well equipped, with complimentary bath salts, fluffy towels, robes and slippers. The staff at the hotel were very good to me (father) and my 14 month old daughter who were travelling with my sister for for a few days, than on our own for a few more days. For the most part the facilities were very clean. Lobby and restaurant were very nice. Excellent location. I'd use this hotel again.

Perfect for a mid-week getaway to Shanghai. The staff were welcoming,
helpful and accommodating. The decor of the hotel was ecelectic and
inviting, a real fusion of Asian and Modern. The bed were comfortable
and the room was lovely and spacious. The gym was well set out and
looked out over the river. It was so inspiring to look at Pudong all lit
up while running on the treadmill. The hotel put on a gorgeous
breakfast, the buffet was definitely value for money. All in all, a very

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

Short stroll from peoples square metro interchange station means you can
get green line direct from Pudong airport. Exit on to Nanjing road for
shopping. Unbeatable. The price is very good .will chose it again
without question. -

this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.
