Older motel, recently updated. Manager very friendly and an excellent host. First room he gave us had a plugged bathroom sink, he immediately moved us to another similar room, and had the first one fixed that same afternoon. -
Loved having two separate bedrooms. Allowed me to go to bed while the kids hung out and everyone had their privacy.

i liked the fact it was very quite, untill the next room slammed the door at 6.30aM, the one who complained at 8.30 pm that we had the fan running in the bathroom,, she needs help. it was a clean room with nice veiw and was not expensive. the staff was very freindly, would stay again. -

When we arrived and the manager said he would meet us across the street behind the motel, we wondered where he might be putting us, and we worried a bit. The rooms( bed room and bathroom) were super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's located right off the highway so it's easy to find. We arrived very late in the evening the host was very accommodating. Thank you!

The room, itself was a nice surprise with a jacuzzi tub, a granite counter in the bathroom and the textured walls. The bed was good.
We also enjoyed the patio furniture that has been provided for guest so folks can enjoy the out doors.
We didn't use the barbeque, but others did.
I certainly recommend this hotel.

Front desk staff were very efficient and helpful, they even offered to help me carry my stuff up to the 2nd floor as the elevator doesn't service the 2nd floor.
The room was updated and had nice bedding and pillows, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the room suited my needs.

Staff were pleasant. We were able to check in early and go for a long bike ride prior to actual check in time. Parking lot was clean (other than renovation furnishings), check in/out staff were helpful, and location was very central for our purposes.

Perfect location right off highway. Good stopping point in trip from Spokane to Edmonton. The hotel clerk , Veronique, was so warm and friendly to us that on the return trip we spent the night again. The rooms were ultra clean and the beds were a fine welcome after drving for 7 hours. -

- Nice location, 1 block from the beach for the Oakanagan lake
- Kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils
- 3 beds, 2 of which were in a seperate room with a door so you could move around without disturbing everyone.
- Picnic benches outside the room for relaxing and talking.

The rooms were clean with new furniture. Good heat control. They had a lot of toiletries and nice soap. The bed was very nice, staff were friendly. It's close to a bit of everything. I work on the road and this is one of the best and economical motels I've stayed in. Everything worked in my room. And the front desk was open 24/7. I will stay here again. They also have suites for a reasonable price. A++

I loved this motel! Freshly painted inside and out and so conveniently located to everything that I needed to be near! I would highly recommend it to other travels whether on business or pleasure! Price was very good, room was immaculate clean, suite was quiet. No traffic noise, sounds from other suites minimal. Bed was super-comfortable. Did not use the in-room coffee, but free coffee, juice, fruit and muffins available in the office in the morning. Staff very friendly. -

We have stayed at The Schell express at least once a year for the past3 yrs and my wife has stayed there many times for yrs before we were married. We only stayed at this hotel for only a few hours (arrived late and had to take an early flight the next morning) for a flight connection. The only front staff that was working at that time was extremely friendly and helpful. The 5:30 AM continental breakfast and courtesy shuttle to the airport were much appreciated.
